I did the rum infusion with Cruzan rum and I think like 25 jolly ranchers in my 12 oz bottle and I was very happy with the results

I infused Bacardi rum with green Sour Patch Kids. Just had them lying around the house…I only eat the yellow and red ones. I left it overnight and strained. I’m not sure what I think about it, since I have never infused a liquor before I’m not sure how a “good” or “bad” combination tastes, but I definitely taste rum and green sour patch kids. I think it’s probably too sour of a candy to use, but all I saw was people using sweet or tangy so I was curious. I feel like the candy, in its sourness, would go well with tequila (like lime and tequila?) and maybe sweeter flavors with rum, like you said.

I ahve done this for years. Some of the flavors taste like cough syrup- like cherry & grape. But fruit punch & fire make great flavors!
